Description
Picsart is a versatile, AI-powered creative platform used for photo and video editing, graphic design, and social media content creation. It is available as a mobile app (iOS/Android) and a web-based editor.
With over 150 million monthly users, it bridges the gap between simple filters and professional software like Photoshop, offering a user-friendly “layer-based” editing system.
Core Features
AI Tools: Includes an AI Image Generator (text-to-image), AI Background Remover, and AI Object Removal to erase people or objects from photos.
Photo Editor: A massive library of filters (FX), retouch tools (face/body editing), and light effects.
Sticker Maker: Access to over 60 million user-created stickers or the ability to cut out your own.
Video Editor: Basic trimming, music overlays, and trendy video filters for TikToks and Reels.
Collage Maker: Quick templates for grids, freestyle scrapbooks, and frames.
How to Use Picsart (Step-by-Step)
1. Start a New Project
Open the app and tap the Plus (+) button at the bottom center.
Choose a photo from your gallery, or select a blank canvas, a template, or a “Background” to start from scratch.
2. Apply Basic Edits (Tools)
Tap Tools to find essential features like Crop, Resize, Adjust (brightness/contrast), and Remove (AI object removal).
Use the Retouch tool if you are editing a portrait to smooth skin or change hair color.
3. Add Creative Flair
Effects (FX): Apply filters ranging from “Vintage” to “Glitch” and “Sketch.”
Stickers: Search for any keyword (e.g., “butterfly,” “neon”) and place stickers on your photo. You can adjust their opacity and blend mode.
Text: Add captions with hundreds of unique fonts. You can add shadows, strokes, and even bend the text.
4. Layering and Mixing
Tap Add Photo to overlay a second image on top of your first one.
Use the Eraser tool (usually at the top of the screen) while an effect or sticker is selected to “brush off” the edit from specific parts of the image.
5. Save and Share
Once finished, tap the Next arrow in the top right.
You can save the image directly to your Gallery or post it to the Picsart community and social media.
Is it Free?
Picsart follows a “freemium” model.
Free Version: Provides access to most basic tools, filters, and stickers.
Picsart Plus/Gold: A paid subscription that removes ads and unlocks premium assets (exclusive fonts, high-end AI tools, and stock images)
What's new
Most of what we build doesn't wait for an app update. While this one tidies up a few bugs, the real action happens behind the scenes-new features, fresh content, stickers, and templates dropping all the time. Stay close to our socials so you don't miss a thing.
